Glenkindie Lodge Partnered with Care Control Management Systems Ltd in 2019 and we have been learning, training and implementing the system on the job to provide, manage and oversee care provision for our residents.
This care management software offers all of the functionality we need to improve personal care. We have invested on relevant software, devices and monitors that offer the most comprehensive solution on the market today giving us access to all of the most essential tools for our care organisation.
CITATION BUSINESS SUPPORT
Through Citation Business Support we have access to the most highly qualified team of consultants in the industry. They provide a 24/7 advice line, manned by HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety experts, also offer many resources including guides, updated articles, training modules, HR and Health & Safety templates, and more.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
QMS International is our ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) Partner where we signed and have been certified under ISO 9001, which is the international standard for Quality Management Systems.
The process for certification benefits from improved record keeping, better supplier relationships, increased efficiency, factual approach to decision making, greater employee morale and improved client satisfaction. The process has helped our management to focus on gap analysis and continuously improve by reviewing and raising our standards.
APETITO -NUTRITIOUS DINING
Since Glenkindie introduced Apetito (Wiltshire Farm Foods) meals to our residents, it has transformed the dining experience. We value healthy eating, presentation of meals and the variety of balanced nutrients and tasty food for our residents. The partnership with Appetite was born in 2019 following an extensive research, demonstration and and experimental dining experience with our residents, their relatives and staff.
MCM CCTV
For protection and extra security for everyone at the Care Home, we have surveillance cameras in the community areas and outside of the building. With the support of MCM Alarms, the system is managed and maintained to ensure that they are in working order at all times.
REMIT GROUP - TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
The management of Glenkindie Lodge believes in continuous development and we have partnered with Remit Group to provide career development training opportunities to our employees who wish to progress on NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care. We, as an organisation is committed to develop our valued employees who we consider them as our "Glenkindie Family". In addition to the Remit Group, we have signed up with Citation Training Programme to ensure we all are up-skilled in the area of profession and continuously gain up-to-date knowledge, competence, confidence and experience.
CARE QUALITY COMMISSION
Glenkindie Lodge is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. The Care Quality Commission monitors, inspects and regulates health and social care services. We have made extensive improvements to the service provision by prioritising efficiency on compliance and governance. We are pleased that our new Registered Manager (Wendy Fox; who was appointed in October 2021), with the support from the external management consultants, has been consistently improving, the governance, compliance, health & safety and the operational duties. Our new management has been closely liaising with the CQC Team to ensure we work collaboratively to continuously improve our services.
NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL
North Northamptonshire Council's Adult Social Services is our main provider of Government funded residents joining Glenkindie Lodge. We are also contracted to provide our service with West Northamptonshire Council's Adult Social Services. We regularly liaise with both the Adult Social Services Team with regards to the residents currently residing under our care and future potential residents joining us. Our primary objective is to ensure robust and detailed assessments to ascertain the level of individualised personal care required and make and informed decision.
